The Multihull Show is back, and the 2025 edition promises to be a record-breaking event
Since its inception in 2010, the Multihull Show has been one of the success stories within the industry. While many boat shows have been forced to retrench in a changing landscape, the Multihull Show has grown year on year and the 2025 event promises to be the biggest yet.
The 2025 edition of the International Multihull Show will run from 23-27 April in the town La Grande Motte, in France’s Languedoc Rousillon region – famous for its fine wines and plentiful sunshine. La Grande Motte has proven to be an excellent venue for a show; the huge marina provides plentiful space, while the town – a popular beachside resort during the summer months which is noted for its iconic architecture – provides a fine backdrop for the event. The town has recently concluded an extensive revamp which means that the centre is looking particularly smart and roadworks free.
Premieres
The Multihull Show has its fair share of premieres and this year is no different. Two of the most notable debutants will be the Lagoon 38 and the Excess 13. The final line up is not 100% confirmed at present but there could be up to seven sailing yacht premieres in total, so watch this space.
In addition to the boats afloat, the organisers are introducing a new demonstration area for smaller boats, toys, and electric engines. Some models will be available to be tested at sea for an immersive and unique experience. All in all, there will be over 80 boats on show afloat, while 2025 also marks a further strengthening of the international shipyards’ attendance. Finally, the Design and Innovation area has been newly redesigned.

How to get to the Multihull Show
The easiest way to get to La Grande Motte from the UK is by plane and there are regular flights to Montpellier, Nimes and also Beziers to the west and Marseille to the east. If you fly into Montpellier, the best option is likely a taxi from the airport to La Grande Motte. From Nimes, there is a train that takes you to the neighbouring town of Aigues Mortes from whence you could take a taxi or bus. From Beziers or Marseille it would be best to take a train to Montpelier St Roch and from there you can get a taxi or the 606 bus to the show.
Montpellier is on the TGV line and you can travel from the UK by Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord, then take the Metro to Gare du Lyon and from there it is a three and a half hour trip to Montpellier St Roch.
