One dead after single-vehicle crash in Shawnee Co.
SHAWNEE COUNTY (KSNT) - Kansas law enforcement say one person is dead after crashing into a ditch.
Kansas Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle fatality Tuesday afternoon near 94th Street and U.S. 75. Just before 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, a Ford Ranger was traveling southbound on U.S. 75. According to the crash log, the Ranger ran off the road to the right, for an unknown reason, vaulted into the ditch and came to rest in a nearby creek bed.
KHP troopers, with assistance from the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office, responded and found 71-year-old Ronald W. Heustand of Topeka dead due to a fatal injury. According to KHP, there were no other occupants in the vehicle
