Kali Uchis Performs In Red Patent GCDS Boots at Coachella 2025 Alongside Jennie
Kali Uchis hit the stage alongside Blackpink star Jennie at Coachella in Indio, Calif., on Sunday. The pair performed their song “Damn Right” at the music festival celerbities are known for flocking to every year.
Uchis crooned away, while modeling a red molded bustier top and matching skirt featuring whimsical butterfly detailing. The bilingual “See You Again” singer was also dripping in diamond jewelry with red accents for the occasion. Uchis is known for working with stylist Christian Barberena, whose other high-profile clients include Megan Thee Stallion and Chloe Bailey.
As for shoes, the hitmaker wore knee-high boots featuring a glossy patent finish courtesy of GCDS’s Fall 2024 “Toys for Adults” collection. GCDS is a luxury Italian streetwear brand founded by brothers Giuliano and Giordano Calza in 2015. The boots are complete with monogrammed uppers, tonal stitching, and metallic heels boasting the brand’s GCDS logo chain heel. The skinny heel made of polished nickel gives the appearance of cubes stacked atop each other.
The name GCDS was originally an acronym for “God Can’t Destroy Streetwear,” but the brand now prefers “Giuliano Calza Design Studio.” Since its launch a decade ago, the label has garnered a massive following. One of the brand’s signature silhouettes is the best-selling Morso featuring a bold mirrored heel designed to look like shark teeth.
Chappell Roan just donned black leather Morso thigh-high boots at Rick Owens’ Fall 2025 show in Paris last month. Florence Pugh also wore a pointy silver version of the eye-catching pumps during the “Dune: Part Two” press tour leg in Brazil in December 2023. Other celebrities known to wear GCDS include Dua Lipa, Alix Earle, Katy Perry, Bella Thorne, and Gwen Stefani.
The GCDS patent monogram logo chain boot is available to shop on the brand’s website in black, as well as in Bordeaux on zalando.com. They retail for $1,225 on gcds.com.
