Two arrested in death of 14-year-old crash victim found shot in South Linden
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Two teenagers have been arrested after a third was shot and killed Sunday evening in South Linden.
According to Columbus police two teens, ages 15 and 16, were arrested by a CPD SWAT unit Tuesday morning and are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center. Both suspects are charged with murder in the death of 14-year-old Lorenzio Galloway Jr., who was pronounced Sunday evening at 8:20 p.m.
Police say officers were called to a traffic crash at the intersection of East 12th Avenue and Cleveland Avenue at around 7:45 p.m., when Galloway Jr. was found suffering from a gunshot wound while in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
