Chilly morning leads to pleasant afternoon with lighter wind
What We’re Tracking
- Chilly start this morning
- Few showers on Wednesday
- Very warm again on Thursday
A clear sky through the overnight hours has allowed temperatures to drop off this morning. Lows have gotten down into the upper 30s and lower 40s despite a northwest wind at 10-15 mph.
We'll finally get our wind to back off heading into Tuesday as temperatures slowly warm through the middle of the week. Highs still reach the upper 60s with sunshine Tuesday afternoon. This all ahead of our next system, which could bring a chance for showers on Wednesday with a quick-passing system. By Thursday, a big warming with highs back into the upper 80s for one day.
An early look into Easter weekend does show a chance for some rain that we'll have to watch for for those easter egg hunts. Temperatures should be seasonable into the holiday weekend. Right now, the best chance of rain is looking to fall on Easter Sunday and could be a rather widespread rain throughout the day.
