Big retailer cuts price of big pack of Kinder chocolate bars to just 29p each
A MAJOR retailer has slashed the price of a multipack of Kinder chocolate bars – making them only 29p each.
The bargain makes it one of the cheapest places to buy the bars right now.
It comes as Amazon knocks the price of its whopping bulk boxes, packed with 36 Kinder bars inside, to just £10.50.
This makes each 21g bar just 29p – an impressive deal compared to usual Kinder prices.
Formerly, Amazon sold the box for £17.93 and 49p a bar, marking roughly a 40% reduction.
The individual 21p bars are also 35p when bought individually at Tescos – which is 14p more expensive.
However bear in mind that ordering the bars will require paying for postage if you don’t have Amazon Prime, and will slightly add to the cost.
There are also still some slightly cheaper deals on the market right now – for example, you can buy 6 bars in Sainsbury’s for £1.60 which is a couple pence cheaper.
Which means its a great deal if you’re already buying a basket of things from Amazon and want to stock up – but maybe not if you are planning to pop to the shops, or just want a smaller pack.
It comes as a reminder to always compare prices before you buy.
Websites like Trolley are a great tool which can pull all the latest deals together for you.
It also allows you to compare deals across different types of products.
For example, B&M is the cheapest place to buy Wispa bars right now – selling a four pack of 28g bars for £1.65.
And a six pack of 21.5g Milky Way bars is cheapest in Poundland – at £1.75.
Amazon also recently listed a huge 2.4kg box of Celebrations for £11.19 – almost half its original price.

How to save money on chocolate
We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
