St. John’s transfer Brady Dunlap is on the move.
The 6-foot-7 wing from Newhall, Calif. committed to Saint Louis following a weekend visit, sources told ZAGSBLOG.
he averaged 5.7 points in 10 games as a sophomore before being shut down due to injuries. Dunlap underwent season ending hip surgery earlier this year and also had a UCL injury.
He is known as a strong shooter when healthy.
“We lost Brady, and I was perfectly happy with losing Brady, because he wants to go somewhere and play 25-30 minutes,” St. John’s coach Rick Pitino said at the Final Four. “He didn’t think he could get that with us.”
He initially committed to Notre Dame before flipping to St. John’s in May 2023.
Dunlap joins transfers Trey Green (Xavier), Dion Brown (Boston College), Paul Otieno (Quinnipiac), Quinten Jones (Northern Illinois) and Ishan Sharma (Virginia).
