Sadie Sink Gets Support from 'Stranger Things' Co-Stars at Broadway Opening Night for 'John Proctor Is The Villain'
Sadie Sink is officially back on Broadway and her Stranger Things co-stars are there to cheer her on!
The 22-year-old actress celebrated the opening night of her new play John Proctor Is The Villain on Monday (April 14) at the Booth Theatre in New York City.
Sadie walked the red carpet following the performance.
Stranger Things actors Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, and Maya Hawke were all in attendance at the opening night event!
In John Proctor is the Villain, five young women – fueled by pop music, optimism, and fury – clash with their school, their Georgia town, and the stories they’ve been instructed to believe. As their class dissects The Crucible, they begin to question who we deem heroic, who we call a villain, and who gets burned in the process.
The play opened to rave reviews! It’s a New York Times critic’s pick and Entertainment Weekly gave it an “A” grade.
“[Sadie's] performance is so wonderfully and heartbreakingly human that it’s hard to look away from — and one that may require repeat viewing, especially after the play’s twist is revealed,” EW raved.
