Ange Postecoglou retains faith in Tottenham star despite two shocking errors
Ange Postecoglou has spoken about the errors a couple of his senior Tottenham players made at the Molineux Stadium and has insisted that he has no concerns about the pair ahead of the huge game against Eintracht Frankfurt.
It was the same old story for Tottenham Hotspur at Wolves on Sunday as defensive lapses once again proved to be their undoing.
Ange Postecoglou will feel that all four goals that his side conceded were avoidable, with two senior men coming under the spotlight for their errors.
Guglielmo Vicario’s role was questionable for two of the home side’s goals, with the goalkeeper not dealing effectively with balls into the box.

For the first goal, the Tottenham number one parried the ball straight into the crowd, only for Rayan Ait-Nouri to score with a first-time effort.
For Wolves’ third, Vicario dived sideways to push a meek effort against Djed Spence, with the ball bouncing off the full-back and into the back of the net.
When asked if he has 100 per cent faith in his number one ahead of the crucial tie against Frankfurt, Postecoglou responded (via Football.London): “Yeah, 100 per cent confidence.
“Obviously, we made some individual errors today which was a bit unusual for us, fair to say. They all happened in one game and unfortunately, we got punished for it.”

Spurs were not just let down by Vicario but also another senior star in Cristian Romero, who had an off-night.
The centre-back failed to deal with a simple ball down the channel and gave the ball away just outside the box to Ait-Nouri, who squared to Strand Larsen for an easy tap-in.
When asked if it was not ideal to see key players making errors, the Tottenham boss responded: “Yeah but it’s not like they’re doing it on purpose.
“Those two in particular are pretty reliable in that kind of situation but today it was a collection of events which were unusual which makes it really difficult to get an outcome from the game.”
