Ange Postecoglou hints two Tottenham stars will return in time for Frankfurt
Ange Postecoglou has now revealed why Heung-min Son and Wilson Odobert were not part of the Tottenham matchday squad against Wolves and whether they will be ready for the second leg against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
The same old defensive issues continue to plague Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, with the North London side once again conceding some soft goals and falling to yet another defeat at Wolves.
Focus now shifts to the big game on Thursday, with the Europa League quarterfinal tie all square after the first leg.
Some big names were missing from Spurs’ matchday squad at the Molineux Stadium, and Ange Postecoglou has now provided an update on their fitness.

Will Heung-min Son and Wilson Odobert play a part in Germany?
Neither Son nor Odobert made the trip up to the Midlands on Sunday, with Mathys Tel slotting in on the left alongside Dominic Solanke and Brennan Johnson in attack.
Postecoglou has now clarified that both players were rested as a precaution for the second leg at the Deutsche Bank Park, confirming that the Frenchman and the South Korean are expected to be ready for the clash.
When asked if Son and Odobert will be fine for Thursday, the Tottenham boss said (via Football.London): “They should be, yeah, yeah, Sonny got a knock and no point in him travelling today and with Wilson, as I said before, I was just managing him, but the whole idea was hopefully managing him so he can be right for Thursday night.”
Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham team selection shows where his priorities lie
Apart from Son and Odobert, several other key players were also rested by Postecoglou for the clash against Wolves, which shows that Tottneham’s entire focus, understandably, is on the Frankfurt clash.
Destiny Udogie, Pedro Porro and Micky van de Ven did not play a single minute at the Molineux Stadium, while Rodrigo Bentancur and Lucas Bergvall came on as substitutes.
The fact that Pape Sarr was withdrawn on 55 minutes and James Maddison played 75 minutes on Sunday potentially hints that Sarr is going to get the nod to start alongside Bentancur and Bergvall on Thursday.
