Celebrity Big Brother nominations revealed in first look as ‘jealous’ feud escalates
CELEBRITY Big Brother’s latest round of nominations have arrived and tensions are riding high in the house.
On Big Brother: Late and Live, host Will Best was able to reveal a first look at nominations – with former civilian housemates Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan getting to pick who.
Together, they didn’t hesitate to pick JoJo Siwa’s nominations – and the results lifted the lid on a growing feud in the house.
While we are yet to see her first nomination, Jojo was then shown in the Diary Room saying: “My second nomination is Ella. I find that conversations with Ella, they feel very forced, and I feel like I really have to try to, you know, come up with something that we can talk about.
“And also, I feel like I’m really on eggshells, and I feel like… I don’t know, I kind of overheard her say something today, when I was in the garden with Chris [Hughes] and something about me and Chris whispering at night, and so that got me kind of thinking, like, ‘ooh, we’re trying to spread drama’ in a way’ .”
“I don’t know, I feel like it’s just kind of an interesting dynamic,” she added. “I don’t like gossip. I like silly little gossip. I like, ‘oh my god, this happened, that was hilarious. Oh my God,’ whatever.
“But real gossip, that’s like catty behind backs, it’s not for me, and I don’t think it’s for this house. I think it can kind of kill the vibes.”
The comments seemed to shock the group, who were broadcasting from inside the garden, with last year’s CBB Winner David Potts adding it didn’t surprise him.
“I feel like Ella kind of doesn’t really know her place in the house at the minute,” he told Will. “I feel like she… you can see that JoJo and Chris are obviously very close, yeah, and as we’ve all seen as well, kind of. Ella seems to be going for Chris a little bit.
“So maybe it’s just like, ‘I’m defending my friend’.”
JoJo’s nomination came after Ella admitted on Sunday night’s episode that she was surprised her and Chris weren’t closer, prompting fans to believe ‘her gameplan had backfired’.
It comes after The Sun revealed that Ella dumped boyfriend Dan Edgar in a bid to have a “fake showmace” while in Celebrity Big Brother.
A source told The Sun: “Ella had already been telling pals over the past few weeks that she didn’t see a long-term future for Dan.
“It was clear their relationship was nearing the end and with Ella having managed to land CBB, she knew she wanted to give producers what they were after.”
They added: “She’s a smart girl and knows exactly how this industry works and why she makes good TV and with being one of the lesser known names on the cast, Ella told pals that she thought an on-screen romance would boost her chances of staying in the house long-term.”
The Sun also revealed that Ella – who is earning the least to be in the house – is appearing on the show in order to save her flailing clothing business, BEMEE.
However, despite her “targeting” Chris, Ella’s flirtations have seemingly fallen flat as the former Love Island star instead has been seen become best buds with American pop star, JoJo.
With Chris defending Jojo from homophobic remarks made by Mickey Rourke and learning how to dance with her, the pair have become a tight unit, leaving little room for Ella.
Celebrity Big Brother continues weeknights at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
