Stalled truck on I-5 jammed traffic throughout Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A stalled truck caused all southbound lanes of I-5 from the Fremont Bridge to the Morrison Bridge in Portland to be shut down for a period of time Saturday before then causing westbound lanes of I-84 at Lloyd Boulevard to close.
The traffic jam began around 8 p.m. and appeared to clear shortly before 11 p.m.
Traffic was diverted to southbound I-405 over the Fremont Bridge.
Crews at the scene actively worked to remove the truck by backing it up onto I-84 rather than getting it towed away.
