PORTLAND, Ore. (Portland Tribune) -- It's here: Record Store Day.
Since 2008, independent record shops all around the world are rearing to celebrate their culture, featuring special vinyl releases, in-store music performances, special deals and more on a day dubbed Record Store Day.
From staff to customers to the artists, everyone comes together to honor the roles they play in the record community, and Portland is jamming out and joining in on the fun at a handful of locations.

The Record Pub
From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. people can party at The Record Pub, 6034 S.E. Milwaukie Ave., for a jam-packed day.

Everyday Music
Rudeness and whining won't be tolerated at Everyday Music's event which starts at 11 a.m. at 1313 W. Burnside.
Jackpot Records
All Record Store Day releases will be available at the Jack Records physical location, 3574 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd., and anything left in stock will be available for online order at 5 a.m. on Sunday April 13.
Mint Gallery Records
Mint Gallery Records, 3912 N. Mississippi Ave., will have more than 200 limited edition titles.
