Olivia Munn Picks Black Pointed-Toe Shoes for New York Press Day
Olivia Munn is returning to her acting career. The performer is starring in a new Apple+ series named “Your Friends & Neighbors.” Munn stars opposite Jon Hamm. This week, she’s been in New York City doing press for the project.
Styled by Yael Quint, Munn wore a wool over coat and tan wide leg trousers. The actress also carried a black leather clutch.
For shoes, Munn wore a pair of black pump shoes. The shoes are sharply pointed. In addition, they include a low-cut rounded vamp. The cut ensures that there is a bit of toe cleavage. The shoe is a single sole style and includes a tall thin stiletto. The stiletto is round and appears to be about four inches.
While it’s not exactly clear what brand the shoe is, it looks similar to the Le Silla Bella heel. That style contains all the same details including a pointed toe and a rounded vamp. The stiletto measures 4.7 inches which is the same height as the Christian Louboutin So Kate — Munn is not wearing the So Kate as the sole is not red. People often refer to single-sole stiletto styles at this height has uncomfortable because of the pitch they require. The pitch of a heel is the degree of incline the foot is positioned in.
Many brands have their own black patent leather pump shoes. There’s Le Silla but other companies include Celine, Schutz, Balenciaga, Jimmy Choo and the aforementioned Louboutin amongst others. Amongst the design tweaks, some brands create distinctive heel shapes while others adjust the vamp in various ways. Over the last few years, making the silhouette sharper and more angular has been popular.
Black pointed-toe pumps are extremely popular. They are often seen as one of the most versatile heels in a woman’s closet. Available in a variety of heights, the shoe can serve wearers from jeans and t-shirt looks to glamorous fashion gowns. They range in price as they are offered by labels at all levels.
