Man who murdered woman with infant in car arrested in Kentucky, police say
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An arrest has been made in a homicide case involving a woman who was found with her neck slashed in a car with an unharmed infant in Vancouver last year, officials said.
Dariel Nunez-Montero, 31, is accused of committing the murder, with the charge added while he was already in custody on unrelated charges in Montgomery County, Kentucky, the Vancouver Police Department said. Nunez-Montero is awaiting extradition to Clark County, Washington, for the murder charge.
Courtney Clinton, 31, was found dead in her car on November 1, 2024, in the 300 block of Blandford Drive in Vancouver. Police said there was an unharmed infant child in the gray Ford Edge SUV at the time.
The medical examiner determined she had been assaulted by another person and her neck was slashed.
