Sarah Jessica Parker Coordinates With Twin Daughters in Chic Coats & Pumps at ‘Smash’ Opening Night on Broadway
Sarah Jessica Parker was joined by her husband, Matthew Broderick, and 16-year-old twin daughters Tabitha and Marion “Loretta” Broderick, at the opening night of “Smash” on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre in New York City Thursday.
Parker and her daughter all wore long coats over dresses while the “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” star looked dapper in a navy suit with a paisley tie and black lace-up shoes. The “And Just Like That” star wore a black coat over a black lace dress and glossy black pointed pumps for the red carpet appearance. She added a bit of sparkle to her elegant look with a glitzy, rhinestone-covered pouch bag featuring a black shoulder strap.
The pumps she sported were crafted in shiny patent leather and featured a skinny stiletto heel that appeared to be between 3-to-4 inches tall.
Meanwhile, Marion “Loretta” Broderwick wore a fuzzy ivory coat over a black and beige lace dress featuring a bustier-style bodice. On foot, she wore semi-sheer black mesh pumps boasting pointy toes and rhinestone embellishments throughout.
As for Tabitha Broderick, she went for a more colorful ensemble, showing off a vibrant turquoise coat layered atop a silky teal dress and seafoam green satin platform sandals.
It was reported last August that Parker’s namesake SJP shoe brand, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker, would be folding after a decade. The “Sex and the City” star has often worn the glamorous and whimsical styles from the collection on the red carpet and out and about over the years. Last June, she was spotted donning playful mismatched heels in a black and white polka dot print on the set of “And Just Like That.”
The brand’s Bleecker Street flagship store, which debuted in early 2023, shuttered its doors on Aug. 25. The location was just a stone’s throw away from her iconic character Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment in New York’s West Village. Parker’s first flagship on West 54th Street, which opened in 2020, was formerly a Manolo Blahnik boutique.
“After 10 colorful years, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker has made the difficult decision to close its doors this fall,” said the statement from the brand. “The SJP Collection team expresses enormous gratitude to all of their loyal customers and supporters, as well as all those they’ve worked alongside.”
