Supermarket giant selling Ninja pizza oven dupe for £270 less than the original and it’s ideal for summer evenings
A SUPERMARKET giant is selling a Ninja pizza oven dupe for a whopping £270 less than the original.
The barbecue oven is perfect for making a fun meal for family and friends on summer evenings.
Lidl will be selling a Grillmeister Barbecue Pizza Oven for the bargain price of £29.99.
The oven can be used on charcoal or gas barbecues and the budget supermarket claims its perfect for creating pizzas with a delicious crispy base.
The design features a removable pizza stone and integrated thermostat.
For comparison, premium kitchen appliance manufacturer Ninja is selling an artisan electric outdoor pizza oven and air fryer for £299.99.
Its pizza oven is a similar size to Lidl’s but uses electricity rather than the heat of a barbecue to cook the pizza, with several cooking settings available.
The dupe will be available in Lidl stores from April 17 for a limited time only.
It will form part of a middle of Lidl barbecue event, which will also see the retailer stock fire pits, barbecues and accessories including a burger cloche and chicken roaster.
If something catches your eye be sure to get to your local store quickly on April 17 as shops will only receive limited stock and when it’s gone, it’s gone.
Lidl’s middle aisle sales have earned themselves legions of fans over the years, with many products having gone viral.
Just today Lidl launched a garden event featuring a wide range of tools.
When shopping the supermarket’s special deals remember to always check prices against other retailers to ensure you really are getting the best deal.
To do this you can use online tools such as Trolley.co.uk or Google Shopping.
But you should always have a quick shop around first as you might be able to find a similar product cheaper elsewhere.
Prices vary by model, size and retailer so it’s worth having a browse elsewhere before you make a decision.
Ooni is one of the most popular manufacturers of pizza ovens, but depending on the model you buy it’ll set you back between £299.99 and £799.99 – so it’s an investment.
B&Q’s Livingandhome Black Portable Pizza Oven is the cheapest we’ve found and it costs £141.
And remember, it’s only a good deal if you were wanting an air fryer in the first place – if you get it just because of the offer, you aren’t necessarily saving money.
It comes as Lidl announced that it would be trialling a Click, Reserve and Collect service on the Lidl Plus app for the first time ever.
The service allows people to reserve sought after Middle Aisle buys for up to two weeks before they arrive in stores.
Announcing the exciting new development, Jassine Ouali, Chief Customer Officer from Lidl GB, said: “We’re always exploring bold new ways to enhance our customers’ shopping experience and are pleased to be in a position where we can bring this latest trial to life.
“We know how popular our Middle of Lidl deals are, and this trial will give our Lidl Plus customers the chance to secure a must-have item before it hits the shelves.
“We can’t wait to see how our customers respond.”
How can I save money when shopping at Lidl?
Lidl reduces items at the start of the day, and the best deals can be found between 7am and 8am, when most stores open.
Shoppers can often find cooked meats, salmon fillets and breads reduced by 30% or more.
Not only does Lidl have its own range of reasonably priced alcohol, it also has its own knock-offs of branded favourites – so say cheers to its bargain booze.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
