Man brutally beaten by several suspects in Ruston parking lot while celebrating birthday
RUSTON, La. (KTVE/KARD) -- What was intended to be a fun night out to celebrate Jacob Hudson's 24th birthday quickly turned into a fight for his life. Jayda Naron was woken up by a phone call after going home early from a night out with Hudson; that's when she discovered he had been brutally beaten by eight to ten men.
Hudson noticed a female was uncomfortable walking to her car alone from Ponchatoulas. Hudson escorted the female to her car when he was approached by the suspects, who allegedly beat him until his jaw was broken and he was choking on his own blood. Naron is now advocating for the victim by being his voice in his time of need.
He tried to cover his face and then he got hit twice and then thats when he started to call out for our friends when he started to realize he was choking on his blood and couldn't get anything out

The event that took place in the early morning hours of April 5, would leave Hudson with permanent damage. Doctors say that Hudson will no longer have feeling in his chin as a result of the altercation.
A GoFundMe has been created by Naron to support Hudson while he is unable to work during his recovery. She thanks the community for their generosity during this grueling time.
I do want to thank the community for all they've done for him and the Ruston ER, EMS, and Willis Knighten for giving him the care they have, and I do believe there were some strangers that were in the parking lot that night that also helped Jacob up and helped him in the car, and I want to thank them as well. You know who you are if you're seeing this, so I really appreciate you helping out my friend.
