Capital Region drop-off sites for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The 28th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is set for Saturday, April 26. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) hosts this day to provide residents with a way to safely dispose of their unused medication.
These events are held every April and October. Here’s where you can drop off your unused and unwanted medication in the Capital Region on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This list will be updated as more locations are announced.

In October, 4,425 law enforcement agencies participated in this national event. There were 4,644 total collection sites, which collected 314 tons of unwanted medication.
