Love Island star reveals her hot sister was brutally axed from the line-up after bosses made major U-turn
JESSY Potts has revealed her stunning sister was brutally axed from the Love Island line-up.
Both sister had initially been in talks with ITV to appear on a show.
Jessy, 25, that during the early stages of the process she and her sister were approached by bosses to take part.
But the blonde bombshell, who appeared on the 2023 series, said it never materialised into anything and her sister ended up not being singed for the dating show.
Jessy revealed to fans on Snapchat: “Yeah so when I first had an interview with Love Island we didn’t know what it was for we just knew we were doing a call with ITV and they wanted sisters, they were looking for siblings.
“Then I don’t think it went anywhere because I don’t think they could figure it out.”
Jessy and her sister would not have been the first siblings to appear on the show.
Twins Jess and Eve Gale appeared on the show in 2020 and again on All Stars in 2024.
“I know obviously the twins did it, but I don’t think they knew how the dynamics would work or how to make it work, my sister ended up not doing it anyway, she pulled out of the process, but yeah they were originally looking for siblings to spice up the show,” she added.
Just yesterday The Sun revealed Jessy had already called time on her brief romance with Scott Thomas.
The Sun revealed last month that Jessy, 25, were seen checking out of The Londoner hotel in the West End with Scott, 36, after a romantic night in the capital watching Back To The Future the musical.
But after spending a night together, they have called time on their romance after realising they weren’t compatible.
A source told The Sun: “Jessy and Scott went on one date but decided they were better off as friends.
“Jessy is looking forward to having a single summer and to get out there and date, while Scott has different priorities right now.
“They felt that they would be better as pals and weren’t compatible on a romantic level.
“Jessy is keen to find a boyfriend who is ready to commit and who is emotionally available.
“She’s been single for a while now and is hoping she’ll find a new man that will tick all her boxes.”
Just days ago, Jessy appeared on White Fox’s new podcast and said she was fed up of being played by guys.
She said she often dated “older” men, but said it doesn’t always make them “wiser”.
Just weeks ago, Jessy and Scott spent the night together in a posh London hotel.
A source told The Sun: “It’s very early days but they enjoyed a fun night out together in the capital.
“Jessy is so his type and they would make a gorgeous couple. They both deserve some fun after tough times in the villa.”
It comes after Scott, 36, failed to find love in All Stars and quit the Cape Town villa early after struggling to feel a connection with Tina Stinnes.
Jessy – who is strikingly similar to Tina in looks – has been single since her break up with Joey in September.
The glamorous Islander could have found a connection with Scott on All Stars but she decided against taking part.
Her romance with TV personality Joey only lasted seven weeks after she ‘stole’ him from his ex fling Grace Jackson.
