Another key moment from our match in South Lanarkshire involved 15-year-old Academy midfielder Jessica Ramsay, who made her senior Hibs debut in the latter stages.
The away win kept Hibs top of the table heading into Matchday 25, with the team now sitting two points ahead of second-place Rangers on 60 points.
The Visitors
Hearts started their post-split fixtures with an impressive 3-1 home win over Celtic, but suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to Rangers before the break.
A fifth league loss of the season leaves the Oriam outfit currently sat fifth in the ScottishPower Women's Premier League on 49 points.
Eva Olid's side were victorious in the most recent Edinburgh Derby back in December, picking up a 1-0 win at home in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup.
Hibs picked up all three points in the last league clash between the two sides, as Rosie Livingstone netted a dramatic late winner at Tynecastle Park.
