Shoppers ‘running’ as Home Bargains launch ‘skin-improving foundation’ for under £2 & the exact buy costs £15 in Boots
BEAUTY buffs have been sent into a frenzy after spotting a £14.99 foundation going for less than £2.
According to money-smart shoppers, the popular discount retailer Home Bargains has launched ”skin-improving” foundation that’s going for over seven times more elsewhere.
At Boots, the viral Max Factor Miracle Pure Skin-improving Foundation will set you back an eye-watering £14.99.
Meanwhile, the exact same product sells for just £1.99 at Home Bargains, saving you a fortune.
The make-up bag essential, which has won an impressive 4.1-star rating on the brand’s website, ”is clinically proven to care for skin while you wear it”.
In just one minute and with just a drop, the affordable bargain find will plump your skin, ”letting your complexion benefit in five ways, with improved radiance, firmness, elasticity, density, and suppleness”.
What’s more, the advanced formula is infused with 89% skin-care ingredients, such as Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid, and provides a whopping 24 hours hydration.
The coverage is said to be buildable, which makes it perfect for both those who want a lighter, more natural look – and those who want to achieve red carpet glam.
Another bonus is the added SPF 30 – which is a must in everyone’s skincare routine.
However, while there are over 20 shades, it’s worth nothing that Max Factor haven’t launched enough deeper shades, leaving many frustrated.
Online, the foundation has become a huge hit, with hundreds giving it the maximum five-star rating.
One fan of the product said: ”Goes on beautifully and evens out skin tone.
”I agree with some other reviewers that there are not enough colour choices but was lucky enough to find a perfect match with the Natural Rose shade.”
Another chimed in: ”Coverage is good and you can add a little more for extra depth without caking, glides on smoothly and quickly, leaves skin looking natural.”
”Use everyday, its been really kind to my skin and makes it look really hydrated,” a third Boots customer penned.
But not everyone’s been leaving rave reviews, with one person warning the foundation only added years to their appearance.
