‘And Just Like That’ Star Nicole Ari Parker Models Gianvito Rossi Pumps at YoungArts New York Gala With Husband Boris Kodjoe
Nicole Ari Parker complemented a sparkling look at the YoungArts New York Gala on Monday in New York City with a pair of sleek Gianvito Rossi pumps.
Parker was one of many stars in attendance at the event for the non-profit YoungArts, which amplifies and invests in young artists. The swanky party took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where Parker connected with fellow guests and artists like Misty Copeland.
For the special occasion, the “And Just Like That” actress opted for a sparkling black gown with an elegantly draped cape feature. She went with gentle waves for her hairstyle and showcased a glowy makeup look.
As for her shoes, Parker kept things classic with a pair of slingback heels from Gianvito Rossi. She wore the brand’s Cara style, which is a d’Orsay silhouette with a pointed toe, curved vamp and ankle strap featuring Gianvito Rossi’s Ribbon buckle. The set is lifted up by a 115 mm stiletto heel, which is about 4.5 inches, making for a substantial elevation. Crafted from calf leather, the Cara style retails for $945 from the luxury brand.
Gianvito Rossi recently experienced a major executive move — it was announced this month that Constanzo Ruocco was appointed the new chief executive officer of the company, succeeding Rossi himself.
Parker was joined at the YoungArts New York Gala by her husband Boris Kodjoe, who went with a classic suit for the event. Parker and Kodjoe, a longtime Hollywood couple, have been stepping out in style together for quite some time now. In February of this year, the two went to a Michael Kors cocktail party wearing chic black outfits set off by slingback pumps (for Parker) and Chelsea boots (for Kodjoe). Discover their style below.
