Celebrity Big Brother star given their own private bedroom in house – away from other stars
CELEBRITY Big Brother star Trisha Goddard has been given her own private bedroom – away from the other stars.
Trisha, 67, entered the iconic house during last night’s live launch, joining an impressive line-up of famous faces.
As shared in her VT, Trisha is living with stage four terminal cancer, but is determined to make the most of every moment and continue living life to the fullest.
To ensure her comfort and wellbeing, the show’s team have arranged for Trisha to have her own room, similar to the setup for Sharon Osbourne, 72, last year.
A source told The Sun: “Trisha has been given her own space in the house to ensure she can rest when necessary.
“The production team has worked closely with her doctors to ensure she has everything she needs during her time in there.
“It’s a sensitive situation, and this setup allows her to manage her health while still being part of the show.”
In the main bedroom, the remaining twelve housemates will be forced to cuddle up with just a selection of double beds on offer.
An ITV spokesperson has been contacted for comment.
Speaking to The Mirror ahead of her TV stint, Trisha spoke about how her oncologist is working alongside the Big Brother team.
“I’ve got a special therapist who’s happy to work with the medic on the show,” she explained.
She then said: “My palliative care team – and when I say that word everybody screams and runs away, but it’s symptom treatment – is working with the team here too.
TRISHA’S TREATMENT PLAN
“And then when it comes to my treatment, I had one infusion on Monday, so I’ve got to jump on a plane and go straight back to have the next one as soon as the show is over.”
Trisha then spoke about the “bag full of meds” that she is taking in the house with her.
She also revealed how her oncologist has planned her treatment around the production schedule.
Trisha is best known for hosting daytime talkshows and of course, being at the helm of her self-titled morning talkshow which ran from 1998 to 2010.
Trisha was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 and was later given the all-clear.
But in 2022, she revealed that the cancer returned as stage 4 breast cancer.
FANS MOVED BY HER BRAVERY
When Trisha shared the news, she said that this time it was “not going away”.
Emotional fans were quick to comment on social media as she entered the CBB house last night.
One person said on X: “It’s so brave of her to go in given her prognosis and to share that with the nation.”
Another said: “Wow what a brave woman Trisha is. Hats off to her.”
And a third added: “All love to Trisha Goddard.

BRUTAL SIDE EFFECTS
In December 2024, Trisha opened up about the kind of cancer treatment she was receiving and how it impacted her.
Trisha underwent chemotherapy last year and then provided fans with an update.
At the end of the year, after undergoing chemo, she posted snaps of her out on a walk saying she was using “movement as medicine”.
Revealing the brutal side effects of treatment, Trisha said she had chosen to avoid using anti-nausea medication that worsens her constipation.
Trisha wrote: “My first walk after my chemo/hormone treatment is always tough…
“I’ve chosen to have minimal anti-nausea medication because it makes my already bad medically-induced constipation even worse….
Even though it’s being treated.
“But I’ve found that what all the research shows is true: a brisk walk in the fresh air helps, but bloody hell – not gonna lie: it’s damned hard.
“Don’t wanna leave a trail of puke on the boardwalk, innit?
“Experience has taught me that the more meds you take – the more side-effects, so whenever safe and possible, with my Dr’s help, I do whatever I can for myself to handle my symptoms.”
