Guy who tried to meet 15-year-old for sex receives 30-month sentence
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A registered sex offender was sentenced to 30 months in prison on Monday after trying to meet with a teen girl for "sexual purposes," the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office announced.
Christopher Guy, 55, was convicted of luring a minor and online sexual corruption of a child.
"In December 2023, Guy repeatedly chatted online with a person he thought was an underage teenage girl. In fact, it was a Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office detective. The conversations were sexually explicit and included plans to meet in person," officials said.
Guy's previous offense came in 2007 when he was convicted of multiple counts of sexual abuse -- the victim in the case was a girl under the age of 14, officials said. He received a 75-month prison sentence for those offenses.
