I’m a single mum & gave my kitchen a pink zebra transformation with The Range bargains – some hate it but I’m made up
A SINGLE mother has revealed that she gave her kitchen a mega makeover whilst staying on a budget.
So if you want to add style to your pad, then you’ve come to the right place and will need to listen up.
Jessica Willcock, a mum-of-one from the UK, used bargain buys from Amazon and The Range to give her space a new lease of life, and it’s left people open-mouthed.
Thrilled with her home’s ultimate transformation, Jessica took to social media to share a before and after look at her kitchen.
But whilst Jessica loves her unique decor, she claimed that her colourful kitchen is not to everyone’s taste.
What was once a bright aqua blue space has since been given a pretty, pink overhaul, without breaking the bank.
Posting on DIY On A Budget, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, alongside snaps of her home, Jessica wrote: “Transformed my tired and beaten up old kitchen.
“We’re finally making a happy space for the two of us.”
Jessica claimed that her kitchen is “not to everyone’s taste..”, but acknowledged that she is a “single mama with a young man who loves to help change our house decor.”
The savvy mum then acknowledged that she used Rust-Oleum paint in the shade Dusky Pink to inject personality into her kitchen.
She described the paint, which retails from £18.99, as “an absolute dream to put on”.
As well as this, the bargain hunter shared that to transform her worktops, she used D-C-Fix self-adhesive film, in a zebra print pattern, which she bought from Amazon.
Not only this, but to bring further style to the space, Jessica hung faux flowers from her kitchen light, which she nabbed from The Range.

Jessica’s post has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly racked up 190 likes and 68 comments.
