Watch moment CBB host Will Best takes savage swipe at Jack P Shepherd’s Corrie co-star – as new housemate hits back
CELEBRITY Big Brother host Will Best didn’t hold back in tonight’s launch show, taking a savage swipe at a former runner-up.
Coronation Street legend Jack P. Shepherd arrived to a chorus of cheers and told the hosts how he’s been getting plenty of advice from Colson Smith, who finished third last year.
The Craig Tinker actor was a popular personality in the house, and Will’s gag at his expense didn’t hit the mark with the crowd or Jack.
He brutally told Jack to disregard his tips as he “only finished third”.
The crowd quietened at that same moment and Jack shot back: “That’s really good”.
He then made his way into the house to greet the other new arrivals.
There was a positive omen for the David Platt star when his VT played out.
In it, he claimed he’d be one of the first to get the boot, but the audience clearly disagreed and shouted out “No!”.
When asked what he’s most looking forward to, Jack said: “Probably just every experience that comes with it – the Diary Room, the nominations. I think I’ll like the tasks because that’s the big event – when you can all come together.”
And when it comes down to what he’ll miss the most, he said: “I don’t know because I feel like you still get everything like chocolate and sweets and things like that. But probably the little dog, the little dog baby – which is a long-haired Chihuahua.”
The actor will certainly prove popular with his housemates given his penchant for clearing up.
He said: “I have a strength for cleaning – I like to clean. I’ll make cups of tea. I’ll wash up. I’m not the best cook but I can cook. And I’m very quiet if I need to be.”
