Watch Jessica Borga faceplant Hannah Rankin with devastating knockout to claim title at BKFC 72
Jessica Borga became the first BKFC women’s featherweight champion after delivering a devastating knockout just 32 seconds into the first round in her fight against Hannah Rankin on Saturday afternoon.
There was no feeling out process when the fight began with both fighters launching bombs almost immediately, but it was Borga who settled into the pocket and started connecting with the more damaging blows.

With her opponent moving forward, Borga unleashed a brutal punch that demolished Rankin and sent her face first down to the canvas. The referee didn’t bother attempting any kind of count because it was clear that Rankin was knocked out cold.
“I’m the one and only Jessica Borga, and I’m only getting more dangerous. I don’t care who you are; send me anybody,” Borga said after her win. “I’m here to stay, baby.”
Borga joins fellow women’s champions Christine Ferea, who rules over the flyweight division, and Britain Hart at strawweight after she successfully defended her title with a win over Tai Emery on Friday.
With the win, Borga moves to 3-0 in her bare-knuckle fighting career with all of her victories coming by way of knockout.
