4/3/2025: Stormy start, warm & mostly dry finish
The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:
A storm system pushing through has brought early morning rain and thunder to much of our area. Some in the Adirondacks and Vermont could be a little slippery as some snow and ice may have mixed in overnight.
The heaviest rain will be out of here by late morning or midday. A few stray sprinkles or light showers are possible in the afternoon, but most will be dry. There could be a few breaks of sun between the clouds and temperatures will be quite warm, peaking around 70 in the Hudson Valley!
Tonight looks partly cloudy and quite mild, with lows in the 40's for most. Some south of the Capital District may see a few light showers.
Tomorrow looks dry, with most seeing a good amount of sun. The exception will be south, in the Mid-Hudson, southern Catskills, and southern Berkshires, where it may stay on the cloudy side. Expect highs near 60.
The weekend looks much more unsettled, with rain and highs only in the 40's on Saturday. Still showery on Sunday with highs in the mid 50's.
Monday looks alright, with highs near 50 and quieter, brighter conditions. Much cooler for the following days with highs in the 40's. There could even be a few snow showers on Tuesday!
