I furnished my ENTIRE home with Facebook Marketplace finds – my stools were free & I saved £1k on a farmhouse table set
A SAVVY woman has revealed that she furnished her entire home whilst on a budget, using bargain buys from Facebook Marketplace.
Not only did Becky Chorlton, 26, get her hands on bar stools free of charge, but she also nabbed a like-new fridge for only £15 too.
But that’s not all, as this blonde beauty even saved over £1,000 on a huge farmhouse table set.
Thrilled with her finds, which included a garden bench that didn’t cost her a penny, the thrifter and owner of ‘Becky’s Bazaar’ – a second-hand business reselling vintage garments – took to social media to show off her new interior finds.
Shortly after Becky and her partner spent their ‘entire life savings’ buying a 1900s cottage, the couple took a scout on Facebook Marketplace in search of affordable homeware buys.
Keen to show off their huge haul of bargains (and freebies), Becky uploaded a clip online with the caption ‘Facebook Marketplace is elite especially for new homeowners on a budget!’
As she stood in front of her first home, she then said: “I furnished our entire house using Facebook Marketplace and here’s how it went.”
Showing off her kitchen freebie, Becky, who previously bought lost luggage from Heathrow Airport, beamed: “The first thing I found were these bar stools, completely for free.
“I took off the original cushions and replaced them with new ones and I absolutely love the way this looks in our kitchen. It’s giving me all the country cottage vibes that we wanted.”
Not only this, but she also nabbed a huge farmhouse table set, which often retail online for over £1,200.
Thrilled with her bargain, Becky added: “The next Facebook Marketplace find was this huge farmhouse dining room table for £150. It also came with a bench and all the chairs.
“My boyfriend did have to drive about four hours to get this, but I think it’s 100% worth it.”
As well as this, Becky even nabbed a corner unit and a fridge, as she continued: “The next thing I found was this grey corner unit. This was listed for £30, but she did accept an offer for 20.
“We actually got this from Facebook about 18 months ago and we’ve had it in our rented house ever since, but I think it works perfectly in the hallway of our new house.

“Our new kitchen doesn’t have an integrated fridge, so we desperately needed one. We found this one, and this is like-new on Facebook for £15.
“Honestly, this fridge was in such good condition. We of course gave it a clean before we put any food in it.”
Finally, to finish off her haul, Becky was lucky enough to get her hands on a garden bench that was totally free, as she expressed: “I’m so obsessed with this garden bench that we found on Facebook marketplace for free.
“It works perfectly as a place to sit and soak up the sun in the garden.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @beckysbazaar, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 48,300 views, 2,374 likes and 24 comments in just 17 hours.
