Save £100s a year with our ULTIMATE Aldi tips…from Surprise Bags to booze deals & best time to shop for bargains
The supermarket also runs offers on fresh meat and fish as part of its Fresh Weekly Offer promotions.
According to Aldi’s Media Centre, Thursday is when the Fresh Weekly Offer promotions hit stores.
Choose own brand – including wines!
Unlike other supermarkets, most of what is sold at Aldi is its own stock. So if you’re looking for a brand, you might be missing out on products that are a fraction of the price.
Money Wellness found that buying Aldi won-label could save you a whopping £45 a month, or £542 a year!
Aldi’s Bramwells Premium Baked Beans are 41p, compared to Heinz Beanz In Tomato Sauce, which is sold at Tesco for £1.40 a tin.
But the own brand savings aren’t limited to just cupboard essentials.
The viral Chassaux et Fils Saint Victoire Provence Rosé is £12.49 and said to be a dupe of Whispering Angel which is a hefty £24 a bottle.
That’s an £11.51 saving, and it’s occasionally on offer for £9.99 during the summer months.
The iconic Specialbuys
Specialbuys are released in the middle aisle every Thursday and Sunday – and the budget supermarket is known for its dupes, from its Le Creuset copies to its sell-out Lacura perfumes and fragrances.
Upcoming launches this week include stand mixers for £34.99, air fryers for £29.99, Easter gonks for £9.99 and gorgeous pastel Le Creuset dupes for £6.99.
Aldi has some great high-end beauty alternatives too, including the recently launched Lacura HA5+ Skincare range featuring unique 5-Hyaluronic Acid complex, which Fabulous’s beauty editor, Tara Ledden, recently reviewed.
