how the LeBron and Lakers media fiasco can lead to a Championship
With the litany of LeBron criticism in the media from some loud mouths (you know who) over the past couple weeks there has been an incredible amount of noise following the team. A noise that has overwhelmed any other topic of discussion from the league no matter what other story lines may present themselves, LeBron, naturally, always brings the most attention. Especially with the GOAT going on Pat McAfee to speak his mind in a more uncensored medium, there is just a lot of non-basketball related fuss around the team, even for LeBron's standards. But I think it could really benefit the team going into the playoffs in a few weeks...
Considering recent circumstances with the great wins against healthy Grizzlies and Rockets teams, the team is gaining steam at the perfect time. I would even argue that with how lazy and poor of a loss it was to the Bulls, it too can act as a great catalyst for the jolt the team needs to do something special in the post-season. Especially with Bron having some issues getting back into rhythm after coming back from the groin injury, culminated in that Bull's game antics, it could have fans unsure about the squads readiness for the playoff push, but I think the opposite.
For such a rare case of an aging superstar like LeBron is, it is only natural for the passion for the game to be dwindling by this point, wherein the years after the 2020 title, the seasons have been pretty underwhelming, especially for LeBron's standards. However, the culmination of the recent high-intensity wins, disaster losses, upcoming big games, and the media attention the star duo garner can put all the pieces in the right place to ignite an historic end of season that only stars like LeBron and Luka have the potential to live up to. One that I think every fan here should be ready for, because we have seen it before.
The two best examples are with that 2020 title where no one believed or frankly really cared along with the unprecedented challenges that came with that. To the 2016 run where the LeBron critiques were more than ready to highlight LeGOATs Finals record until LeBron and his team did the unthinkable. So it seems that in the worst possible scenarios is where this guy has the best chance to shine the brightest, and with the Luka trade being one of the craziest scenarios in NBA history it would only be right for this team to rise to the occasion and win amidst that trade and with a 40 year old leading the team to make it that much better.
