Beloved Brooklyn restaurant to close after 21 years in business
WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (PIX11) – Marlow & Sons, a beloved restaurant in Brooklyn, will soon close its doors after 21 years in business.
Marlow & Sons, located at 81 Broadway in Williamsburg, announced it will permanently close after its service on Sunday, April 6.
“Originally conceived as a grocery store where you could get oysters and a drink, coffee and get caught up on local gossip, it became a place for everything and anyone. For 21 years the most talented people have been attracted to our little corner in south Williamsburg and built a community here. Thank you to everyone who has ever walked through the door. We're closing this chapter with the best memories and love for all,” Marlow & Sons shared on Instagram.
The restaurant is closing due to a rent increase, Gothamist reported.
Marlow & Sons is open each day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
