Fearne Cotton’s ex Jesse Wood goes Instagram official with Made In Chelsea star after she breaks silence on split
JESSE Wood has officially moved on from his ex wife Fearne Cotton – confirming his new romance with a former Made In Chelsea star.
His new love Gemma Gregory, 39, made things Instagram official on Tuesday, sharing a loved-up snap of them cuddling in the sunshine.
“Bloody love this one,” Gemma gushed, adding a red heart emoji over the snap.
Jesse, 48 – son of Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood – has been dating Gemma following the shock collapse of his ten-year marriage to Fearne in December.
Meanwhile The Sun previously revealed Fearne, 43, has found love again with TV director Elliot Hegarty.
Earlier this week, the Happy Place podcast presenter spoke about her split for the first time on ITV show Lorraine.
She insisted: “I am good. I am really good.
“It’s all very amicable and the kids are doing great. I am in a very good place.”
She also revealed she feels “completely recovered” after having two tumours removed from her jaw last year.
She announced their split on December 16, saying: “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been and always will be our children.”
The Sun understands Jesse moved out while Fearne remained in the family home in West London.
Earlier this year, Fearne admitted life was tough following her marriage breakdown.
She told Hello! magazine: “I can’t pretend everything’s going swimmingly. I think we all know that’s not true.”
Fearne shares two children – son Rex, 11, and daughter Honey, 8 – with Jesse, who also has Arthur, 21, and Lola, 18, from a previous marriage.
Jesse’s stepmum, Jo Wood, who helped raise him after marrying Ronnie when he was nine, has since shared her thoughts on the couple’s split.
She admitted: “I was shocked actually. I didn’t expect Fearne to have a new boyfriend. And Jesse was devastated.”
But she added: “Sometimes in life, you have to go through these things. Their time was up – they had to move on.
“I hope Fearne will be very happy. I’m sure Jesse’s going to be very happy. These things work out.”
Jo also confirmed Jesse is “doing fine” – and said she’s looking forward to meeting Gemma.
“It’s all very new – it’s right at the very beginning,” she added to the Daily Mail.
Gemma is a model and also a mum, who previously spoke about her sobriety journey on Instagram.
She penned next to a photo with her little boy during lockdown: “These crazy times have brought the importance of love, hope and peace to the forefront of my mind.
“A love that is so out of this world, deserves my presence.
“I am so frikken grateful for every moment that I have in sobriety. It can be tough and there are plenty of lemons thrown in the mix.. but I can catch the lemons and (soz for the cliche).. make lemonade….
“Days like today, remind me of how lucky I am to be living free of the burden that comes with addiction. THANK YOU UNIVERSE.”
Meanwhile, former BBC radio 1 DJ Fearne opened up about how the pandemic killed her sex life.
Speaking on Alan Carr’s Life’s A Beach podcast at the time, Fearne said: “Sexy time hasn’t happened for so long in terms of me going anywhere.
“I think for me and my husband, booking into the local Travelodge would make us feel sexy at the moment.”
The Sun then exclusively revealed this month how Fearne is in a new relationship with TV executive Elliot Hegarty, 53.
A source told The Sun: “They have been seeing each other since January.
“Her split with Jesse was incredibly difficult but Elliot seems to make her incredibly happy.
“Fearne is now introducing Elliot to friends and they’re pleased to see her smiling again.”
