Six Flags Great Escape hosts hiring event
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Six Flags Great Escape is looking to hire both part-time and seasonal employees for the 2025 season. Applicants for nearly 1,500 open positions can apply during an in-person hiring event on Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park.
The resort is hiring all positions including ride operators, food and beverage workers, housekeeping, lifeguards, park services, maintenance, security and emergency medical technicians.
Applicants should be at least 14 years old and provide two forms of identification. Applicants should also bring bank account information and working papers for minors.
"At Six Flags Great Escape Resort, there is an opportunity for everyone," said park president Rebecca Wood. "Whether you're managing rides, lifeguarding at the water park, serving delicious food and beverages, or ensuring guests enjoy a restful stay, each role offers the chance to make a difference and discover an exciting and fun career path."
Positions start at $15.50 per hour and no prior experience is needed for many of the positions. Members will also receive free park admission, paid training, in-park discounts and scholarship opportunities.
Great Escape opens for the season on May 17.
