Fire incidents at blood bank and night market in Varanasi
A fire at the blood bank of the divisional hospital in Varanasi destroyed several documents. No casualties were reported. Another fire at a night market in front of the Varanasi Cantt railway station was caused by a gas cylinder explosion. Firefighters promptly brought both fires under control. All blood and platelets in the bank remained undamaged.
