Mike Vrabel Notes These First-Round Prospects In ‘Conversation’ For Patriots
Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel hasn’t gained any intel into how the top three picks in the 2025 NFL Draft will shake out.
“Nope,” Vrabel told reporters while speaking at the annual league meeting Monday morning, per a team-provided video. “You tell me who goes one, two and three and I’ll tell you who goes four.”
Vrabel said the Patriots are keeping all options on the table, including a trade back. If New England does stick and pick at fourth overall, however, the veteran head coach noted two players who are in the conversation: Will Campbell and Armand Membou.

Campbell, Vrabel said, should be viewed as a left tackle despite his arm length.
“I think they’re great, young, talented players that have great film,” Vrabel said of the top offensive tackle prospects. “Will’s got a lot of snaps at left tackle. Membou’s played right, but there’s a lot of guys that have played right and left and switched. Those are two good, young players to talk about in that conversation. But there’s others throughout the draft, as well.”
It shouldn’t come as any surprise the Patriots would consider Campbell and Membou given New England’s need at offensive tackle. Nevertheless, hearing it straight from Vrabel was a noteworthy development.
