Glens Falls is a City of Champions thanks to a winter sports season that saw the Boys Basketball team, Adirondack United Girls Hockey team and Nordic Skier, Forrest Slingerland, win their respective championships. All 3 champions were celebrated on Sunday with a parade through Glens Falls and a reception.
2. Multiple people injured in 3-vehicle car crash in Catskill
Police are currently investigating a three-vehicle car crash that occurred in the village of Catskill on Sunday morning. The incident was reportedly located on Route 9W in the area of West Bridge Street and Maple Avenue.
3. Schenectady police ask for public's help in stabbing investigation
The Schenectady Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred early Saturday morning. The incident was reportedly located in the area of State Street and Fehr Avenue.
4. Cohoes man accused of striking traffic flagger
A Cohoes man has been arrested after allegedly striking a person directing traffic in the town of Halfmoon, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. William Stanley, 43, faces multiple charges.
5. Vietnam veterans honored throughout Capital Region, 50 years since war ends
Towns across the Capital Region held ceremonies Saturday honoring Vietnam veterans, 50 years since the Vietnam War ended.
