COURAGEOUS MI Speaker Pro Tem Smit: “We’re serious about looking into the fraud and investigating here in Michigan” — What’s The Status of FBI’s Investigation Into GBI Strategies Massive Voter Registration Fraud? [VIDEO]

MI House Election Integrity Chair and Speaker Pro Tem Rachell Smit met with The Gateway Pundit Founder Jim Hoft and Investigative Journalist Patty McMurray over the weekend to discuss GBI Strategies, aka “Empower Michigan.”

The Dem-funded voter registration group was caught dropping off and sending thousands of voter registrations at once, only one month before the hotly contested 2020 election.

Many of the voter registrations delivered by mail and in person, were identified as being “fraudulent,”. When Meisch noticed that many of them had fake addresses, as well as the same handwriting and signatures, she contacted the Muskegon Police Department.

Although the number of fraudulent voter registrations turned in by the voter registration group is still unknown,  it’s entirely possible that the Dem-funded group turned in tens of thousands of fraudulent voter registrations in Muskegon alone.

GBI Strategies customers included Senator Gary Peters, who won his re-election bid against the popular John James by only 2%, and the then-presidential candidate Joe Biden, whose campaigns each paid GBI Strategies the exact same amount of $242,133 in the 2020 election cycle.

Muskegon Clerk Ann Meisch first reported her discovery of the fraudulent voter registrations to the Muskegon Police. Shortly after their investigation began, the Michigan State Police were brought in to help with the investigation.

Michigan’s Democrat SOS Jocelyn Benson and their Democrat Attorney General Dana Nessel were also involved in the statewide investigation.

On a private Michigan clerk’s Facebook page, Muskegon Clerk Ann Meisch posted a photo of a stack of fake registrations she received in the mail from “EM” or Empower Michigan.

According to Meisch, the package of fake registrations she received was mailed from the Staybridge Motel in Auburn Hills, on the opposite side of the state.

As it turned out, multiple clerks across the state of Michigan reported getting packages filled with fake voter registrations that were mailed to their offices from “EM.”

Here is a redacted Facebook post showing responses from other clerks when Ann Meisch told them she received another box of voter registrations from “EM.”

In this Facebook post, a clerk admits she also got a package and told the clerks, “Looks like the same person wrote the address label on mine,” asking, “Who do we report this to?”

Under normal circumstances, clerks who receive boxes filled with fraudulent registrations should the Secretary of State or Board of Elections office, but with two partisan hacks, Jocelyn Benson and Jonathan Brater at the helm, many of the same clerks who complained about SOS Benson’s lack of transparency or questionable handling of election-related issues, simply talked amongst themselves on Facebook about the fraudulent registrations.

Meanwhile, their boss, Jocelyn Benson, who is now running for Michigan governor, kept the GBI/Empower Michigan investigation hidden from them.

MI SOS Jocelyn Benson was fully aware of the GBI Strategies/Empower Michigan investigation, but for some reason, she chose NOT to tell clerks.

MI SOS Benson’s investigator, Corey Ames, who was part of the mass voter registration fraud investigation into GBI Strategies/Empower Michigan, was quoted in the Michigan State Police report as saying the results of an examination into a sample batch of 18 voter registrations showed “a quantity” were “clearly fraudulent,” adding, “a quantity of the voter application forms are highly suspicious, having either erroneous or missing key pieces of information and merit further follow-up.” He added that a quantity of the registrations also “appear” to be “legitimate.”

So, why did the George Soros-funded MI SOS Jocelyn Benson keep the investigation a secret from her clerks?

Why did Michigan’s top law enforcement officer, AG Dana Nessel, also keep the statewide investigation into mass voter registration fraud a secret from the public?

And why didn’t she make any arrests after they discovered the law was broken and fraudulent voter registrations were delivered to the Muskegon clerk’s office?

Michigan’s Queen of Lawfare was certainly able to press charges on 16 Republicans, who were mostly senior citizens, with eight felonies each for signing an alternate slate of electoral votes for President Trump in 2020, based on an election that they believed was stolen.

Who knows how the GBI Strategies operation affected the outcome of the 2020 election in Michigan? Will we ever find out?

In a video we obtained via FOIA through Yehuda Miller, AG Nessel’s investigator, Stephen Morse, can be seen interviewing the key suspect who allegedly was responsible for hand-delivering thousands of voter registrations to Muskegon Clerk Ann Meisch.

In an apparent effort to get the key suspect in the GBI Strategies investigation to reveal the company’s motives, AG Investigator Stephen Morse tells her, “That’s why we’re talking to you versus arresting you, because it doesn’t make any sense – because you’re already turning in fraudulent voter registrations. Because people just don’t go breaking the law, without a reason,” he tells her.

The suspect also reveals that in addition to the Southfield, MI headquarters, GBI Strategies has offices in Miami, Philly, North Carolina, and Iowa.

Over the weekend, we had the opportunity to interview MI House Election Integrity Chair Rachell Smit, who explained that she plans to get a status update on the FBI’s so-called investigation into GBI Strategies, something the FBI has refused to discuss with the media, despite more than one FOIA request.

“It’s just critical that we do what we can and do our due diligence in Michigan here to keep our election safe and secure. And obviously, this is something that Jocelyn Benson totes about, how ‘It’s [2020] the most safe and secure election,’ and she’s done such a great job doing that. But I disagree with that very, very strongly,” Smit said.

Chair Smit and her fellow Republican lawmakers are serious about collecting the evidence of voter fraud that’s been dismissed for over 4 years and then getting to work to address these serious voter integrity issues quickly.

“It’s part of building our case and showing all the receipts that have come forward and the work that people have done and the research that’s been out there in the last several years,” Rep Smit told us, adding, “…that we show the public what these irregularities and issues and fraud is that is going on in our election.”

Rep. Rachelle Smit says she is hopeful that if AG Bondi gets their letter, she can “look into this.”

Rep. Smit explained that they need to act swiftly on the information they are gathering, “We believe a much larger scale than just here, what’s going on in Michigan. So it’s very important. Happy to see so many colleagues join on. I should note that there wasn’t a lot of time given on this because we have to act very swiftly. We’re already three months into our term here, and with President Trump in office and in his new administration, we just need to keep moving as fast as we can. And we’re on spring break in the legislature as well. So there was 24 24-hour notice to get this word out, but we’re serious about looking into the fraud and investigating here in Michigan, do what we can.”

On March 27, MI House Election Integrity Committee Chair Smit took one step closer to getting to the bottom of the role the Dem-funded GBI Strategies role played in the 2020 election when she sent a letter to the United States Attorney General Pam Bondi calling for an investigation into fraudulent voter registration efforts and electioneering by partisan voter registration groups who have accepted donations from 501(c)(3) organizations in violation of IRS regulations that prohibit them from engaging in partisan activities. 21 Republican Michigan State Representatives signed the letter.

Rep. Smit also said she intends to give citizens and groups with legitimate evidence of voter fraud, like Ramon Jackson and Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, the opportunity to share their evidence with the election integrity committee.

“There’s just a lot of issues that we see here,” Rep Smit told us during her interview. “When this story broke—I mean–I was a former clerk in 2020,” she explained.

“I was actually a Township clerk myself at that time. I had not known that this was going on. I didn’t know until the story broke, and then all of a sudden, the police report is out there, and we’re realizing the magnitude of this.”

Rep. Smit explained that she believes this is not an isolated case. “Clearly, this is a ring that is going multiple states, primarily the swing states, and that’s an issue,” she said.

Rep. Smit explained why she sent the letter to get AG Bondi involved.

“So this needed to be raised to the US Attorney General Pam Bondi, and have their eyes on this, and an investigation needs to be conducted because this is very disastrous to our electoral process, first and foremost. And so it’s critical that we get that out there and we can just start doing what we can here in Michigan.”
