Dane Bowers reveals new Turkey Teeth after having them shaved down to pegs for makeover
DANE Bowers has shown off his new Turkey teeth as he undergoes a radical image overhaul.
The Another Level star and DJ, 45, has shared an update on his new look after a series of procedures including a hair transplant.
Joking that he looked “like an alien” following his cosmetic surgeries, Dane shared that he’s now feeling much better and is happy with his youthful new look.
Sharing a video from his sunny balcony on Instagram, Dane showed off the progress of his hair transplant and said: “So I now look relatively normal. Swelling has gone down, I still feel really tight, if I’m honest, right here, obviously the scabs are still there, and I’m not touching them, not picking them, so they will go at some point.”
He then grinned at the camera and added: “There’s the gnashers, liking them, liking the color, they’re not too white. They actually look white there, but they’re not in real life.
“Yeah, what can I say? Really happy with the results, back home now I can’t be out in the sun, so just in the shade for a minute.
“Hoping another week or so, and then the scabs might go on the head, and then I can kind of do some of that. In general, happy boy, and don’t look like the alien that I did last week.”
The star looked worlds away from his swollen face last week, where he showed off the initial recovery needed from his operations.
In one vid, he bared his bloody gums and revealed that he had his teeth filed down to the stumps in order to fit his new veneers.
Not for the faint-hearted, Dane said at the time: “I can’t talk…. I look like a baddie in a Marvel movie.”
Him and a pal had jetted to Bodrum, Turkey, in order to get their new looks, and has been sharing videos throughout his time since.
Dane’s image overhaul comes after he and his Another Level bandmates announced a reunion.
The official Instagram confirmed he would be performing alongside Mark Baron, Wayne Williams, and Bobak Kianoush once again.
Currently there are no announced performance dates or new releases.
The band shot to fame in 1998 with hit singles including Freak Me, From the Heart, Summertime and Bomb Diggy.
Dane later launched his own solo career, reaching Number 2 in the charts with Victoria Beckham and TruSteppers with their dance-anthem Outta Your Mind.
He now continues to DJ around the country.
Dane’s personal life also made headlines – he famously dated Katie Price in the early 2000s and, more recently, Laura Anderson.
He has also appeared on reality shows including Celebrity Big Brother and joined the short-lived 2014 reunion project 5th Story, alongside Gareth Gates, Kavana, Adam Rickitt, and Kenzie from Blazin’ Squad.
