Jacqueline Jossa posts sweet message to Dan Osborne after he sends her flowers and spends the night with her
JACQUELINE Jossa has posted a sweet message praising husband Dan Osborne as they fight to save their eight-year marriage.
The couple have been working on their relationship, even spending a quiet evening together after Dan moved out of the family home last week.
On Mother’s Day yesterday, the pair put on a united front with their daughters Ella and Mia, spending the morning together as Jacqueline was lavished with gifts.
Dan posted his own message praising Jacqueline, saying the girls were ‘lucky to have her as their mummy’, and now Jacqueline has returned the sentiment with a special message for her estranged husband.
Posting a photograph on Instagram Stories of the giant bouquet of flowers she received, Jacqueline wrote: “Thank you for making my Mother’s Day so special @danosborne.
“And now I’m finally at the grown age of 32… into flowers so can appreciate them”
On top of the special treats, which included flowers, chocolates and a designer gift from Gucci, Jacqueline spent the day at Mamma Mia! The Party in London with her own mum, Selina, and the girls.
The star shared pictures of her day out, with the family all dressed as if they were on holiday in the Mediterranean, where the show is set.
Jacqueline wore a baby blue crochet top and jeans, matching her daughters who wore jeans and flowy tops.
She later wrote the group “truly had the time of their lives”, and wrote on Instagram: “We were dancing and singing THE WHOLE TIME! Up on our feet and swinging napkins.”
“You know I’m dramatic and love to have a cheesy time so this is right up my street but WOW I LOVED IT SO MUCH.”
Her sweet and simple message to Dan is the latest sign the couple are working to repair their relationship, after Dan moved out to a house nearby.
Jacqueline is currently remaining in the family home in Essex with their girls.
A source close to the pair said: “Jacqueline and Dan still really care about each other and have a lot of history.
“They’ve been spending a lot of time together as they navigate co-parenting and looking after their kids.
“Even though they have separate homes, they’ve got an open door policy. They’ve been getting on really well and carrying on family life like normal.
“There is no one else involved and they’re working together as a team for the sake of their kids.
“They’ll be seen together a lot as they navigate the situation.”
Their night together comes after sources close to the couple claimed the marriage is over for Dan, and it’s “not a case of if but when” they file for divorce.
They said: “He wants to build and foster a positive relationship with Jacqueline for the sake of their children but says it’s over for good.”
Eastenders star Jacqueline has also been seen without her wedding ring while running errands and heading to the gym.
The couple have been together since 2013, when they met at an awards ceremony – but have had bumps in the road along the way.
The pair tied the knot at a lavish ceremony at a Cheshire manor house in 2017, but shortly afterwards there were accusations Dan had cheated, including while Jacqueline was pregnant.
Dan has adamantly denied these claims, and despite brief periods of separation, the pair have always returned to each other.
