Scattered showers, some dry moments around Portland on Saturday
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A mix of rain and sun is expected across the Portland, Vancouver area on Saturday as temperatures warm close to 60 degrees.
Saturday's weather will be a rinse-and-repeat scenario of Friday's wet and sunny weather. A few more frequent dry moments are expected as winds slow across the region. Highs will climb into the upper 50s on Saturday afternoon as fewer rain showers are expected during the afternoon and evening hours.
Additional rain accumulation this weekend is expected to be near a quarter of an inch by Sunday night. The greatest amounts will be found along the coast with nearly a half inch possible.
Temperatures will gradually warm this weekend as afternoon highs climb into the low 60s on Sunday. This weekend's warming trend sends Cascade snow levels back up to 5,500' until early next week.
Another round of rain is expected to start the new week off. That's where highs will fall into the mid-50s as March ends and April begins on Tuesday.
