MANILA, Philippines – For the 10th anniversary celebration of Wanderland, the two-day homegrown music festival curated a lineup consisting of old favorites, promising acts on the rise, and well-loved newcomers.

It was a culmination of how the festival’s past editions panned out over the past decade, which meant that there were several iconic performers who made their rightful comeback this year. One of those was Canadian R&B artist Daniel Caesar, who first brought his music to Wanderland in 2018. Years later, in 2025, he would return as a headliner for the festival’s first day on March 22 at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

There was a suspenseful buildup to Daniel’s appearance. His entire trip from the holding area to the center of the stage was flashed on the LED screens, so when he finally faced the crowd, it became difficult for people to contain their excitement.

Daniel’s was the night’s most long-awaited set. Festival attendees camped out early on his side of the stage to be assured of a good view when it would come time for the “Let Me Go” singer to emerge. And when the minutes counting down to the start of his performance reached the end, people started to take their phones out — eager to capture the exact moment Daniel would get on stage and sing his first note.

At one point, Daniel told the crowd that he had a long week, so he needed their help to sing his next song. Sure enough, they delivered and sang along for almost the entirety of his set. After all, Filipinos are often dubbed by foreign artists as “the best crowd” for a reason.

One of the best parts of Daniel’s whole performance was one of his last songs on stage, “Always.” The crowd mostly took the lead for the 2023 song and gave the Canadian singer a good look at the power his music holds among his Filipino listeners.

He had also sung a few of his unreleased singles, including “Baby Blue.”

Just when audiences thought that’d be the last of it when Daniel said his goodbyes, the LED screens at the venue lit up anew to show the singer-songwriter in his holding room with a guitar in hand. As a final sendoff, he performed another unreleased song, “Indecision,” before covering the camera with his hand to signal the end of his set. – Rappler.com

Tesla CEO Elon Musk's losing streak continued on Wednesday.

Hours after Republicans in Wisconsin lost a state Supreme Court race in Wisconsin where Musk spent tens of millions of dollars of his own money, shares of his flagship electric car company fell upon news that it had badly missed Wall Street estimates for the number of vehicles it had delivered in the first quarter of 2025.

As reported by Market Watch, Tesla revealed that "it delivered more than 336,000 vehicles during the first quarter, down from 387,000 deliveries a year ago."

To put this number into context, Market Watch notes that it "was well below the average analyst estimate compiled by FactSet of 404,000 vehicles" and it "was also lower than the 'whisper' number, or what Wall Street was quietly expecting, with even the most bullish analyst projecting a number in the 360,000 range."

Although Tesla blamed the disappointing deliveries on what Market Watch describes as "the changeover to refreshed Model Y production lines" that "led to several weeks of lost production," it's also a reality that the company has been the target of a concerted boycott campaign led by progressive groups to protest Musk's role as the head of President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency.

Sales of Tesla in Europe have fallen off a cliff in recent months, as car buyers on that continent have revolted against Musk's support for far-right political parties such as Germany's Alternative für Deutschland.
