Man, friend, stole grandmother's identity before killing her, officials say
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people have been arrested in connection to the death of a 78-year-old Lakeshore woman, authorities said.
On October 8, 2024, Patricia Jimerfield was found dead inside her home by emergency responders. The death was described as "suspicious" at the time, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office announced that two suspects were arrested in the case on Friday and they're now accused of murder. The suspects are Jordan Sullivan (31), Jimerfield's grandson, and Alyssa Williams, his friend (30). They're both from Vancouver. Both are also accused of stealing from Jimerfield the night before her murder and fraudulently using her bank card before she was killed.
Back in October, Stephanie Ayersman, Jimerfield's daughter, told KOIN 6 News her mother was found assaulted and strangled and that she was robbed the night before and filed a police report.
Sullivan is facing a charge of first-degree murder and Williams is facing a charge of second-degree murder.
