Alessia Cara Postpones U.S Leg of Tour, Explains Why in Note to Fans
Alessia Cara is postponing the US portion of her 2025 tour.
The 28-year-old singer announced the news on Friday (March 28), and explained the reason behind the decision on her Instagram.
“There are truly so many factors that lead to this (reluctant) decision, all of which were genuinely and completely out of my control. Touring, especially today, is challenging and involves to many little moving parts. Bottom line is we couldn’t make it all work on time,” she began the post.

“Disappointing you guys is killing me, because everything I’ve put into this has been for you and I know how excited you’ve been, but I can only hope you understand. The rest of the tour in Asia, Australia, Canada, and Europe will continue as normal. As soon as I have new information on the new US dates, I will let you know,” she added.
She continued, “I am so sorry to everyone who has bought tickets (which will be honored on the new dates), and planned trips around these shows. I love you so much. I can’t apologize enough and I’ll make it up to you. See you soon.”
“I cried about it then patched it up with ice cream. I’m so so so sorry, my US friends. I’ll make it up to you, I promise!!!! thank you. I love you,” she captioned the post.
The tour is to support her fourth album, Love & Hyperbole, and the US dates were originally going to start in April.
