Big pub brand with 240 branches giving out FREE pints and you don’t have to buy anything
PUNTERS can nab themselves a free drink from Stella to Gin and Tonic at major pub branches – and you don’t have to buy anything.
As the evenings begin to feel warmer, beer gardens across the UK may start to call your name.
Whether revellers want to enjoy a refreshing pint after a stressful day, or sink a crisp white wine while chatting with mates – their drink will taste even sweeter at no extra cost.
The boozy deal is being offered at Sizzling Pubs, and customers don’t have to buy anything.
All they need to do is download the Sizzling app and register an account.
Upon signing up they’ll be given a voucher that entitles them to a complimentary drink.
Free pints include the choice of Carling, Coors, Doom Bar, and Stella Artois.
If this doesn’t take your fancy why not sip a 175ml Cooper’s select wine.
Or, spirits wise, 25ml of Gordon’s gin and tonic, as well as 25ml Smirnoff vodka are available.
The vodka can be paired with a mixer including a large Pepsi Max, Diet Pepsi, or Lemonade.
The Sizzling Pubs lunch deal normally offers customers the choice to upgrade a free soft drink to the above options for £1.
Punters will be able to claim their voucher up to 28 days after registering on the app.
The offer can’t be used alongside any other deals, and can’t be exchanged for cash.
The voucher can be claimed by signing up via the app, or online.
This comes as pub goers can also enjoy a free pint at a major chain for select days during the month of April – but there’s a catch.
Greene King has announced the initiative, which will see them give away 100,000 pints free of charge.
The offer will see customers enjoy a free pint at the first drop of rain from April 3 to 10.
It will apply for 48 hours after the time it rains, with a limit of one pint per person.
Greene King has installed rain detectors in six beer gardens located in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Glasgow, and Wallingford in Oxfordshire.
If any of these register rain, punters will be able to go to any of the 900 locations and redeem the deal.
Simply walk up to the bar and say: “It’s raining, can I have a free pint?”
Plus, Amazon is offering an unbeatable deal on a 24-pack of Pepsi Max, slashing the price from £15.60 to just £6.75.
As part of its annual Spring Sale, the retailer has discounted the prices of a bevy of fizzy drinks, offering the perfect opportunity to refill the fridge or prepare for a party.
The 57% price slash takes the price of each can down to just 28p, from 65p at full price.
That’s less than a quarter of the price it’s sold for at major supermarkets — Sainsbury’s currently sells a single can for £1.20.
