WITH spring starting to rear its head, many are turning their thoughts to cleaning.

And one expert has a top tip for when it comes to cleaning the floor.
Marigold and Vileda have teamed up with cleaning content creator @cleanwithell_ to create some tips and tricks to help tackle the spring clean with ease, alongside product recommendations designed to simplify the process.
And she has a wacky hack that involves a pair of bed socks.
According to influencer and single mum Ellie, wearing a pair of bed socks over your shoes dries your floors as you mop – perfect for when you’re in a rush or are expecting guests imminently.
Firstly, put on a pair of slippers or shoes, then add an old pair of bed socks over the top.
As you move around to mop you will dry and buff your floor at the same time.
The key to making this hack work is to use a good spin mop, Ellie says, like the Vileda RinseClean Spin Mop as this allows you to control how much water you use, so you can really wring out the mop and any excess water.
It also features a clever dual-chamber system which keeps clean and dirty water separate, so you’re always cleaning with fresh water – your floors will be so clean and you can check your socks when you’re finished to prove it!
To make the process even quicker, you only need to use water with the mop to remove 99 per cent of bacteria thanks to the microfibre mop head and it goes straight in the washing machine when you are done.
