Pudzianowski is widely hailed as one of the greatest Strongest Man competitors ever, having won the competition a record five times. He is a sporting icon in his native Poland and has parlayed his Strongest Man fame into a lengthy MMA career, having compiled a 17-9 (1 NC) pro record since debuting in 2009. The 48-year-old is currently on a two-fight skid, having dropped consecutive fights to Artur Szpilka and fellow KSW star Mamed Khalidov.
KSW 105 marks Pudzianowski’s first fight since June 2023.
Hall, 37, makes what is expected to be his MMA debut (the rule set for the contest was not officially announced). A longtime World’s Strongest Man competitor, who finally won the crown in 2017, “The Beast” has dabbled in combat sports over the past few years, most recently participating in a hilarious 2-on-1 match this past June in which he ragdolled and knocked out both of his opponents.
A venture into boxing in 2022 didn’t go so well for the Englishman as he dropped a unanimous decision to Thor Bjornsson—a.k.a. “The Mountain” from Game of Thrones—in a six-round exhibition bout.
KSW 105 takes place at PreZero Arena in Gliwice, Poland. The card is also set to feature a pair of title bouts as welterweight champion Adrian Bartosinski defends against Andrzej Grzebyk and light heavyweight champion Rafal Haratyk faces Ibragim Chuzhigaev.
