Long lines form for Jumpin' Jack's opening day
SCOTIA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Lines of people flocked to Jumpin' Jack's, a staple drive-in burger joint in Scotia, for opening day on Thursday. People started lining up over an hour before they opened at 11 a.m.
The cold and wind didn't stop two of the first in line to hear classic order call outs from staff behind the counter.
"We got a little bit of everything. Jack burgers, cheeseburgers, French fries, chicken tenders. It's just a good place to come with the family. It's local."
The fast food staple has been around since 1952. And as the season continues, water ski shows take place on the other side of the food stand.
