Idiot trolls call me a ‘burly rugby player’ since having a baby – but real men want something to grab
A MUM has exposed a cruel troll who branded her a “burly rugby player” after giving birth – insisting she’s proud of her body.
Kerri Roma Anderson gave birth to her second child in December and enjoys sharing life with her newborn daughter with her 500,000 TikTok followers.
She’s also been documenting her health and fitness journey at 12 weeks postpartum.
But nasty app user hit out at the aesthetician over her changing figure, calling her “butch” in a cruel, ranting message.
The shock note read: “You had a banging body pre-baby and should aspire to have it back.
“Tho [sic] something wrong, you are getting bigger, bulking out.
“Look like a burly rugby player, all this protein crap too. You don’t want muscles or are you training to be a weight lifter? It’s giving you a big round ball face, broad shoulders and thick thighs.
“You want a slim, petite wee waist and toned. Something is wrong here. Being serious, as that’s butch. Nathan [your partner] won’t like, he likes the slim petite tiny toned body you had before.
“Cut carbs, stop the protein shakes for starts.”
Kerri – from Bo’ness, Falkirk – refused to shy away from the hateful message and made an example of the troll instead.
In a video addressed directly to him, the 34-year-old fumed: “There’s a few things in it that are just wild to me. Wild one that, why do you care?
“You have no clue what anybody in my life wants from me or what I want from myself. So, shut your pie hole.
“Pre-baby, I did have a banging body and it is actually looking f***ing fantastic now. We are five weeks into our journey. Our weight loss journey.
“I was eight weeks postpartum when I started it.”
She continued: “Tell me you’ve never had a girlfriend or interacted with the human species without telling me, right? And if you’re a girl, shame on f***ing you because women’s bodies take a long time to get back to normal.
“And the fact that mine’s back to this stage already, I am so impressed with myself. I’m back into a very nice size eight and a size small.
“So, you can try and make me feel s***, right? You can try. It’s not going to work. Because I don’t look like a burly rugby player. I’m actually really happy with my progress.
“We’ve got a wee teeny fat pad at the bottom here that I’m still trying to get, but it’s the hardest part. And with the breastfeeding, it stores some fat. But we’ll get there. I will get there.”
The mum of two went on to insist that thick thighs and broad shoulders are “what you want”.
“I want my face to be a bit more full”, she added.
“Because right now, I’m gaunt as f***, right? I’m looking a bit gaunt. I want that to puff back out.
“After having the baby, the lack of sleep kind of does that to you. But I’m starting to get there. The healthy eating is doing that.”
Kerri’s video also perfectly addressed the impossible standards some men hold women to when it comes to their appearance.
She joked: “You want me to look like a stick? I’ll fall down drains.
“And Nathan didn’t like me when I was immensely thin. Because there was a stage in our relationship where I was immensely thin. And he didn’t like that. He prefers something to grab.”
She concluded: “What I think I’ll do is I will continue to listen to the specialists. I will continue to listen to my PT because the results that I’m getting back from her are a lot more insightful and a lot more encouraging than your essay that you wrote to me.”
Social media users have applauded Kerri’s brilliant comeback, with the clip racking up more than 58,000 views.
One said: “Screams jealousy! Your figure is absolutely banging, projecting their insecurities hunny. Keep smashing being incredible.”
A second echoed: “Oh dear screams jealousy! You’re doing brilliant.”
“Absolutely trying to gaslight you. You look incredible & beautiful”, insisted a third.
Someone else chimed in: “I can’t actually believe in this day and age someone thought it was OK to write that and send it. Wtf is wrong with people??”
Meanwhile, a fifth wrote: “I absolutely CANNOT with these people. You look absolutely stunning! You looked stunning before being pregnant, during pregnancy and now! Working out works the muscles, you look HEALTHY!”
It’s not the first time Kerri has held haters accountable for their nasty comments.
We told earlier how she was mum-shamed by cruel trolls for wearing clothes that show her pregnant belly.
After sharing a video dancing with her stomach exposed, one social media user claimed: “No one wants to see someone’s bare stomach dancing pregnant.”
But defiant Kerri immediately shut down the hate, as she hit back: “Proudly growing my little girl with no shame, I love this body.”
